Born in the eastern cities of Turkey, where light and silence whisper stories, Hasan Akbas's life was shaped by the magic of photography. As a young man searching for meaning in nature, cities, and people, photography became more than just an art form for him—it became a way of expression.

This journey, which began in 2004, quickly turned into a passion, then a mission. His story, which began in Turkey, merged with the cultural richness of Europe, then with the wild beauty of Alaska. To date, Hasan has pursued light in 19 European countries and more than 40 cities, capturing a different spirit, a different story in every frame.

The grandeur of nature, the chaos of cities, and the inner silence of humans coexist in his photographs. In the misty mornings of Prague, the stone streets of Florence, the canals of Amsterdam, or under the northern lights of Alaska... Hasan's lens captures not just a scene, but the emotion of the moment.

In his professional career, he served as the protocol photographer for the Turkish Ministry of Justice (2021–2024). This experience gave him both technical excellence and the ability to tell human stories in an aesthetic language. Today, he lives in Alaska as an independent photojournalist and fine art photographer. His works have been published in international media outlets such as The Times, BBC, The Guardian, Time Magazine, and Forbes.
